I am a Registered Psychologist who believes that everyone is worthy and whole just as they are. I believe that everyone is worthy and whole just as they are. Often, we’re challenged by adaptive patterns we learned early in life. I’m endlessly curious about how biology and life experiences shape us into who we are today. In my work, I hold gentle space for all aspects of my clients, warmly inviting in the parts of themselves they may often want to hide.
I believe that we adapt to our experiences and circumstances, doing the best we can from moment to moment. My approach to therapy is to compassionately welcome all parts of my clients into the space—so they can be witnessed, understood, and cared for without judgment. I’m passionate about honouring emotions and helping clients feel deeply loved and accepted. I aim to guide clients into a space where they can heal from painful life experiences and release adaptive beliefs that no longer serve them. I walk alongside them as they navigate life’s transitions, holding space for self-healing.
I was born and raised in a small farming community in Saskatchewan and am a fourth-generation descendant of Scottish and Irish settlers. While I understand the rural lifestyle well, I also raised my blended family of three kids in an urban environment here in Calgary. Nothing is clearly “wrong,” but something doesn’t feel right. You may be outgrowing parts of your identity that once felt certain, leaving you unanchored or unsure of your direction. What once made sense may no longer fit, creating a quiet sense of disorientation or internal mismatch.
For many, this is shaped by cultural, family, and societal expectations—balancing who you are with who you were told to be. It can feel like you’re holding multiple versions of yourself, unsure which parts are truly yours.
There can also be a form of grief in this process: letting go of roles, relationships, or identities that no longer feel aligned, even without a clear ending. This often shows up as anxiety, burnout, guilt, or self-doubt.
In my work, I specialize in these in-between experiences. I offer a grounded, empathetic space where you don’t have to justify what you’re feeling or force clarity before it’s ready.
I integrate EMDR therapy to help process past experiences that still feel emotionally “stuck,” and draw on Gottman-informed approaches when relational patterns, communication, or connection are part of the struggle.
Together, we explore what you’ve carried, what’s shifting, and what feels more aligned now—integrating past and present versions of yourself while supporting a clearer sense of direction and self-trust.
This is a collaborative process that moves at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Alongside deeper exploration, we can also build practical tools for anxiety, burnout, confidence, and emotional regulation.
If this resonates, you’re welcome to reach out or book a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

I provide therapy for children, youth, and families, supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioural difficulties.
I believe that play is a child’s natural language. Through play, I help children express themselves, make sense of their feelings, and build new skills in a way that feels comfortable and engaging. I support children experiencing emotional and behavioural challenges, while working closely with parents to understand their child’s behaviour as meaningful communication.
Together, we explore practical, gentle strategies that fit your family’s unique needs. When parents are able to read and respond to their child’s cues with connection, it fosters secure attachment, emotional regulation, and meaningful, lasting change.

Many of us carry wounds from that past that show up in unexpected ways, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, compulsions, phobias, people-pleasing or struggles in relationships. If this feels familiar, you are not alone. These symptoms are often coping strategies we developed at a young age to survive, but they may no longer serve us now. My goal is to help you move from surviving to thriving so that you can build the life you truly want.
I support teens (15+) and adults who feel ready to process their trauma, especially for those who have found that talk therapy alone is not enough. I use Attachment-Focused EMDR to help your brain reprocess painful experiences so that they no longer feel like they are happening right now and instead feel like a thing of the past. While traditional EMDR is very effective for single-incident traumas, Attachment-Focussed EMDR expands on this to also address complex trauma and early attachment wounds. I also work from a curious stance to gently explore the parts of you that carry trauma and connect you with the strengths and resilience of these parts.
As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities. I take an intersectional and culturally sensitive approach to support you in discovering and embracing your authentic self. I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin. For clients who desire it, I can also integrate a Christian perspective into therapy to support you in a way that aligns with your faith.
